There is no fee for participation in the Sunday Religious Education (RE) program, which is run cooperatively by parents and other volunteers, under the guidance of the RE staff. However, registration is required for all infants, children, and youth. Registration helps to establish our budget and planning, our staffing, and childcare programs. Registering your children for RE will also give you access to the First Unitarian Facebook page, where you can communicate with RE staff, other parents, and receive timely news and updates about RE programs.
Because we depend on adult volunteers to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children and youth, each family that registers in RE must contribute 16 hours of volunteer time per year. You will make friends and learn about Unitarian Universalism while interacting with the children and youth of our faith community! Download and keep this volunteer information when you register your child.
Continue to the bottom of the page to register online for the 2019-2020 school year. You can also pick up a registration form in the RE Foyer on Sundays.
Have you filled out a Tree Climbing permission form for your child? If not, click here.
