7:00 pm in the Sanctuary
The cultural noise and speed of the December holiday season can be a strain for many of us. If, for any reason, this time of year finds you longing for a calm, reflective approach to the season you are invited to the Blue Christmas service. Join the ministers and our Care Team for music, silence, companionship, and thoughtful words to surround and comfort us all.
Tuesday, December 24: Christmas Eve
All are invited to this family-friendly intergenerational service. Every child who wishes to can participate in our no-rehearsal-required pageant. Children are encouraged to come in costume or to become a shepherd, a star, an angel, or wise royalty with the costumes we’ll have on hand. Sing carols and light candles in this joyful service.
All are welcome to this reflective Christmas Eve service, where we’ll sing, pray, light candles, and contemplate an ancient story that is still unfolding.
Sunday, December 29 “Resilience Rising”
Worship at 9:30 & 11:00
We’ll consider the myth of the phoenix as we welcome the New Year with this intergenerational, interactive service. What will you leave in the ashes? What will you create and become? All will be invited to visit stations for meditation, contemplation, conflagration, creation, and affirmation. Infant care will be available; all other children will participate with their families in the service.
